Denzel's a bad guy again and Seinfeld a bee this weekend...

American Gangster
Denzel Washington stars as Frank Lucas, a drug-kingpin-turned-informant, brought to justice by one of the only honest cops in the department at the time, Richie Roberts, (Russell Crowe),who finally helped bring Lucas to
justice.
R for violence, pervasive drug content and language, nudity and sexuality.

The movie premise is interesting and one can help but be sucked in by the man actors involved. It's a pity they only share little screentime at the same time. But I will still check it out. I have been waiting for it since I saw the poster months ago.

Bee Movie
Featuring the voices of Annette Bening, Chris Rock, Ray Liotta, Mark Moseley, Rip Torn and Jerry Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is Barry B. Benson is a graduate bee fresh out of college who is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a rare trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans are mass consumers of honey and decides to sue the human race for stealing bees' honey.
PG for mild suggestive humor.

Yeah, it sounded stupid to me too. But you can take the most absurd concept, make it CG with cutesy characters and it works.

Martian Child
John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Joan Cusack, Sophie Okonedo, Oliver Platt
A recently widowed science fiction writer forms an unlikely family with a close friend and a young adopted boy that claims to be from Mars. The new couple ignores some sage parenting advice from the widower's sister and gets more than they bargained for when a series of strange occurrences lead them to believe that the child's claim may be true.
PG for thematic elements and mild language.

BJ -- I saw the previews plus an interview, that both Denzel and Crowe did with Matt Lauer. I agree with Mike, it is the makings of a good movie. Enjoy!
