In the spirit of Rocky, Rambo and Die Hard, Dirty Harry is back!
According this NY Daily News story, 77-year-old Clint Eastwood is looking to revive the Dirty Harry franchise in a new film. Although our boy may not make it out alive from this one. I don't know what to make of this one. I mean I liked "Rocky Balboa" and "Rambo," the new "Die Hard" I haven't seen because I cringe at the idea of Justin Long playing Bruce Willis' sidekick in the movie. But another Dirty Harry movie...can Eastwood pull it off?

He is Clint f%$#@ Eastwood, of course he can! Man, if Steven Seagal is still making action movies, Clint Eastwood can. Haven't you seen him in those commercials promoting California as a tourist destination? He's all about Dirty Harry in those. Gives me the chills thinking of all the award nominations coming his way for that spot. hehehe. Man, I will be glad when this current remake phase is over and we can get back to making more original movies...if there is such a thing anymore. I hate for future generations to look at movies made during my lifetime and say, "what, no one could think of their own ideas? they had to remake everything someone else did?" That would be a sad legacy to leave.
