VIRUS ALERT?
Just wondering why I get a virus alert whenever I go to the VICAD Classified section from my favorites. I went to other sites from my Favs list and nothing. It only happens when I go to the VICAD Classified. Trojan warning 4 comments from 3 users

Our IT team tells me our site was attacked by someone in China. We have fixed the problem and plugged the hole. Your computer should not be in any danger from this. Meanwhile, we plan to move soon to a new and improved platform for our classified advertising.Thanks for staying alert to these issues. posted by

The classifieds section has been doing this, off and on for the past few weeks. I have emailed the advocate SEVERAL times regarding the issue, and only after I got rude with them did i finally get a reply. the issue was fixed that day, but has since happened again. i know of people's computers who have crashed because of the issue. I also get a virus alert and the section is practically unreadable...i would think twice before spending my money putting anything in the classifieds, people are not getting their money's worth. posted by

I've never seen this on my own computer or heard from any reader about this, but I'll ask our IT staff to check into what you're saying and get right back with you.
