In English pubs, ale is ordered by pints and quarts... So in old England, when customers got unruly, the bartender would yell at them, "Mind your pints and quarts, and settle down."

I have a stress test today at 10 am this morning. I have been looking forward to this for about 2 1/2 weeks now, really I have. I am a type 2 diabetic (with minor nothing to worry about according to the Docotor) congestive heart failure (enlarging of the heart). I am out of shape and overweight and today I get to spend 30 minutes in the Devils realm on a threadmill to tell me this. After the test my doctor will look at the results and tell me this as well. He will also tell me to start exercising and to lose weight........... duh? To top it off my boss has to go and tell me that these test have been known to trigger heart attacks, that was something I really wanted to know ahead of time. I will be back later (I hope) to let you all know how it went. Wish me luck.

Danny Bonaduce will not be charged with battery after tossing Jon Dalton A.K.A Jonny Fairplay over his shoulders and causing injury to Fairplays mouth that required 2 1/2 hours of dental surgery.

The DA's office said there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Bonaduce committed battery because Fairplay initiated contact and acted offensively.

Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce and wrapped his arms and legs around him and made thrusting motions into Bonaduces body. deputy DA Jeffery Boxer wrote that Bonaduce did not intentionally injure Fairplay and that Bonaduces actions fell within the realm of self-defense.

Had Fairplay did this to me, my reaction would have been similar.

I for one am not. I have never been a big fan of the game and as time goes on I become even less of a fan. The paychecks some of the players earn could support our local school system for a year or two yet some of the players feel a need to hold out for even more money. it seems that playing for the love of the game has long been forgotten. If they like it or not the players are role models and should conduct themselves as so, after all if you ask them who they looked up to they will have a name or two to mention.
