I support I-69 but....

I-69 will be good for Victoria, no doubt but please understand something; there is no such thing as "I-69/TTC" and so such thing as "TTC/I-69" as some local promoters of those terms believe! I-69 is a totally separate project from the TransTexas Corridor! TxDot promotes the confusion so local movers and shakers will support both unwittingly!

Go to CorridorWatch.org and learn the difference between the two, please!

TTC is, as you say, separate and would run parallel to I-69. Both the TTC and a new north loop for I-69 would run north of Victoria. I guess that explains why TxDot refuses to call the present completion of our north loop Loop 463. They call it 77 South!

Thanks, Kenneth!

Hard to believe that our local leaders think so worngly about these two separate issues. IH 69 is an extension and expansion of the old interstate road act of the 50's, while TTC is a new and completely different animal. A privately held, brand new transportation system brought courtesy of Mr. Rick Perry and his crooked buddies in Austin.

For our local leaders to be shocked that TTC is planning to run north of town, and not follow our existing ROWs is a joke. Are they all out to lunch?
