Texas state government is really a poorly run operation!

TCEQ and the Texas RailRoad Commission have a 100% failure rate at protecting Texas landowners from uranium mining. Anyone with the money can buy a permit to pollute!

TxDot recently made a $1.1 Billion accounting error and spends millions per year roaming around in their own air fleet paid for by the yaxpayer!

The Texas DPS made $58 million in '05 selling your and my personal information then admitted to a reporter that 29% of those records were either incorrect or incomplete!

A recent call to the Texas Department of Human Services was left ring 18 minutes while people worked all around the ringing phone!

The Governor's office is a wholely owned subsidiary of HillCo. Partners, Inc. and about as responsive to the people of the state as an $8 whore!

The State Comptroller's office pushes local appraisal districts to raise preperty valuations!

Our state government is a laughing stock! Why am I not laughing?

BigJ, first, look at the number of times this blog was read. If I'd been talking about Alex Rodriquez or the Dallas Coyboys this would have been read 380 times or more. Your post makes sense. My post makes sense. However, since the problems we mention are not directly biting the public in the butt yet they'd rather read about sports! It's that simple.

Mr. Kenneth Schustereit, as a young man I would consider with caution to drop my hat in the political arena 2010. I think the problem behind Texas politics and politics in general is that there are too many lawyers and businessmen in government. State Rep. Geanie Morrison, for example, is a homemaker whose husband is a businessman. State Senator Glen Hegar is in the farm business.

Nobody, in the Texas government, never have clean toilets, teach someone's else children, take someone else’s trash, and do construction work for a living. Most of them have been pushing pencils. Pushing them right up our collective colons. Everyone in the Texas Senate and House would say “we represent the people“.

I am like this, Kenneth. If you want to change things and to better society then you must understand the people. If you want to end crime, then you must gain knowledge from the criminal. If you want to end poverty, then hang out with the poor and the Have-nots. If you want to upheld and strengthen civil rights then you must hang out with the African-American, the Hispanic American, and the like. If you want to end the abortion issue, then you understand the needs of the woman as well as the unborn and the moral complexity of it.

Someone in college told me that there are three types of people in politics. The first one is the opportunist, who rather play politics over policy to in order to gain seats for his/her party. Then you have the activist, who are more about bomb throwing than creating policy. Last you have the brown noser, who rather follows than being independent and led.

The problem is that he forgot about the fourth and lesser known element. The last angry man element. The last angry man was there shouting when it is stated that the war in Iraq was unjust. He were there making noise about the illegal immigration problem. He was pounding the table, when TDOT under Governor Rick Perry tried to introduced the North American Union projects into Texas. The last angry man is upon us and people need to elect that person.

Enough is enough and its time for a change.

I don't care what your views are. I'd vote for a trained chimp before I'd vote for her! Yes, run!

RUN KEN RUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an axe grind with State Rep Morrison and her voting record.

Kenneth Schustereit, in your earlier blog, were you suggesting me to run in 2010? You do not know my politcal views that much.

100% Agreed! The only incumbent I'll ever vote for is Ron Paul. Perry and Morrison must go!
