Sean Astin In Victoria Supporting Clinton Wed 2/26 at Noon
That's right, Sean Astin of 'The Goonies' and 'The Lord of the Rings' fame will be in downtown Victoria tomorrow to stump for Hillary Clinton. He will be at Forest/Glass tomorrow at Noon and is scheduled to be at Victoria College shortly thereafter.
I need my Obama people!! If you can spare 15-30 minutes of your lunch, come on down and show your support for Obama. Astin will no doubt attract attention. We need to counter that!! 10 comments from 8 users

This kinda thing is why some of the Hillary supporters are having such trouble backing Obama. We let Obama have his events in peace, but Obama's backers routinely felt the need to come out and make our events supporting Hillary all about them. Democrats should not hold protests at Democratic events just because they disagree with our candidate selection (a personal choice!). These folks failed to respect the right of other progressives to support a different candidate than their golden child, so now they wonder why Hillary backers won't all just jump on board the cult-wagon to worship at the altar of the Dalai Bama? I am now proudly voting for Obama, but I totally understand why the kind of aggressive arrogance and frenzied fervor displayed by his disciples has turned a lot of people off. I often think Barack is the only sane one in the Cult of Obama! posted by
