John Edwards & Barack Obama went straight for the jugular in going
after Hillary. They attacked the vote on calling the Iranian Revolutionary Council a terrorist organization. Saying it will give this president the excuse he needs to
go to war with Iran.

Hillary’s inconsistent answers were exposed on social security and at the end
of the debate she agreed with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's controversial plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants but then a minute later started backtracking.
Now Bill Clinton was a master at being evasive but her facial expressions and
demeanor showed she is no Bill Clinton. Will this debate change the numbers?
I don’t know.

I think what was really exposed last night was status quo positions of the front runner.
How can my party complain about the secrecy in the Bush Administration
if Hillary does not turn over all her documents? I understand it gives the other
candidates an unfair advantage, because she will be the only candidate required to
do this. But if this lack of transparency is going to stop, someone has to take
the lead. The other is lobbyist money; Hillary has out raised all the candidates of
both parties in lobbyist money from Wall Street, defense department, and insurance
and drug companies. Some might see it as success but really it business as usual.
Somehow we must have a leader to take us to public financing because these lobbyist
have too much influence.

I am getting suspicious as to why the Bush Administration is getting their way on the
latest NSA spying bill. Did the telecommunication lobbyist have something to do
with it? I don’t know.

This may sound like a slam on Hillary but it really isn’t, it just exposes some of her
weakness in a primary. Great leaders learn form mistakes and they don’t
usually repeat them. Constructive criticism will only make a person stronger.

War with Iran averted

The thing that upsets me the most is despite knowledge that Iran had suspended their nuclear program in 2003; this administration kept up the WWW III rhetoric.  What harm did this cause none here at home, because I genuinely think this country stopped listening to the president years ago, but Russian, China and Germany were being pressured to ratchet up sanctions on Iran?  Now that this NIE report has been released, we lose what little credibility we had worldwide.

Don’t get me wrong.  Iran is a sponsor of terror, Hezbollah is alive and well.  Iran supplied the IEDS that are killing our troops in Iraq, and they should be on a terror watch but not bombed for a non-existent nuclear weapon program.

After watching the left-leaning media bias networks, I switched over to Bill O’Reilly to get the right wing version.  O’Reilly’s guests were John Bolton and Glenn Beck.  What a credible pair…lol.  As expected, the guests were very skeptical.  O’Reilly went on to say that the Looney left and Blame America crowds were rejoicing over this news.  O’Reilly tried to carry water for this president, but as usual he was uninformed.  He said the president was just informed of this damaging report last week, but in the president’s own news conference, admitted he knew parts to this report in August.

The politics

On the Republican side, seven candidates will have to re evaluate their positions on Iran.  Ron Paul was right all along.

On the Democratic side, this will be damaging to Hillary Clinton’s because she voted for non-binding resolution making the Iranian guard a terrorist group.  Most Democrats viewed as giving this administration an excuse to go to war.  A fool me once scenario.

Now this new report is as a reverse course from the 2005 report, which indicated Iran was on his way with his nuclear program. Over to past year, officials have put into place rigious new procedures for analyzing difficult target areas such as Iran, China, North Korea and global terrorism, according to the New York Times.  After the fiasco in Iraq.  our intelligence agencies said.  “Never no more”.  Credit should also be given to Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

Jon Stewart please come back, because yesterday’s presidential news conference would make a funny skit.
