Why I think Barack Obama will win in November No longer McCain's party That was yesterday's qualifications Grand Slam "No way,no how,no John McCain" The Hillary Factor and why Excellent Choice Nuance v Steadfast Start the real campaign Glad to be back October 07 November 07 December 07 January 08 February 08 March 08 April 08 May 08 June 08 July 08 August 08 September 08 John Edwards & Barack Obama went straight for the jugular in going after Hillary. They attacked the vote on calling the Iranian Revolutionary Council a terrorist organization. Saying it will give this president the excuse he needs to go to war with Iran. Hillary’s inconsistent answers were exposed on social security and at the end of the debate she agreed with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's controversial plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants but then a minute later started backtracking. Now Bill Clinton was a master at being evasive but her facial expressions and demeanor showed she is no Bill Clinton. Will this debate change the numbers? I don’t know. I think what was really exposed last night was status quo positions of the front runner. How can my party complain about the secrecy in the Bush Administration if Hillary does not turn over all her documents? I understand it gives the other candidates an unfair advantage, because she will be the only candidate required to do this. But if this lack of transparency is going to stop, someone has to take the lead. The other is lobbyist money; Hillary has out raised all the candidates of both parties in lobbyist money from Wall Street, defense department, and insurance and drug companies. Some might see it as success but really it business as usual. Somehow we must have a leader to take us to public financing because these lobbyist have too much influence. I am getting suspicious as to why the Bush Administration is getting their way on the latest NSA spying bill. Did the telecommunication lobbyist have something to do with it? I don’t know. This may sound like a slam on Hillary but it really isn’t, it just exposes some of her weakness in a primary. Great leaders learn form mistakes and they don’t usually repeat them. Constructive criticism will only make a person stronger.

Obama,why Fox News Sunday?
I know you not were terrified of the Obama clock. It was rather pathetic watching Chris Wallace beg for your appearance every Sunday,It was like watching the high school nerd ,asking out the most popular girl, out for a date every week. What can you possibly gain by going on the Jeremiah Wright, travel Channel? Since it’s beginning, Fox’s viewers have voted, 88% for Republicans. This 24/ 7 happy channel does want to hear your message of hope, because they are ecstatic with status quo. 81% of Americans think this country is going in the wrong direction, so it is easy to see where the other 19% get their news. These viewers ,are the 28% that think George W. Bush is doing a good job. Obama’s camp is well aware Fox’s all-out effort to discredit his candidacy. Come on Barack Obama , by appearing on Fox News Sunday, it will be a form of legitimacy, and it definitely will help their ratings. Perhaps Obama can do a Bill Clinton on Chris Wallace, that will be something to see. I know there are some say that "If you can’t take the tough questions from Fox, how do you expect to defeat the terriost.” That's the mentality of the people that ask that question, because Fox will not ask tough questions about the issues, they are more interested in the soundbites, they think they will get from a questions like, George Stephanopoulos asked "Does Jeremiah Wright love his country?" Will Chris Wallace ask legitimate questions about the issues, or will he try to get material for “Fox and Friends”. I think he will be the latter. Watch and see Sunday 8:00AM on Fox. You live and you learn but I never thought I would be the subject of a blog and according to a couple e-mails I received, some people are responding to a known troll, that was kicked off the Victoria Advocate Forum for using the very same tactics he is employing now. Apparently, he has picked up a couple of admirers…LOL Ever notice it's only the right-wingers that want to trespass into someone's space to dump what they perceived to be a legitimate open-minded opinion. Am I really that important because no one else, has been the subject of a blog?I consider the source. I guess it goes along with mainstream media thinking; Karl Rove is a political guru, although he got slam dunked in the 2006 election and in the year 2000, Al Gore actually received 600,000 more popular votes. Fox news, has yet to tell their viewers, that their political analyst(Karl Rowe) is maxed out in contributions to John McCain. I never really expected it from Fox , because it was recently revealed that most of their military experts, were taking their talking points from Don Rumsfeld and the Pentagon. 5 comments from 2 users

Hello maryann I thought, the interview with Chris Wallace was a wash, with no new revelations. Both benefited because Fox News Sunday got its ratings boost, but the other networks. did not find anything new to report. According to the comments this morning Barack Obama used the opportunity to soften the blow, coming from the Jeremiah Wright publicity tour. Barack Obama even visited a Methodist Church in Indianapolis, yesterday. Chris Wallace mostly dwelled on the social issues, I'm sure his audience wanted to hear. Chris Wallace praised John McCain for reaching across the aisle and more or less implied that Barack Obama has failed to do this. Yes, John McCain went against his party when it came to torture and illegal immigration, but he has gone back to the views of his party on those two issues since he received the party's nomination. Barack failed to make that known. Chris Wallace also mentioned the partial birth bill, Obama voted against. Barack said he voted against it because it was politicized, and it did not have the exception the life of the mother in the bill. We have already debated this, and I'm aware of your stats showing that the life of the mother rarely comes into play. Chris Wallace tried to make Obama a tax and spend liberal Democrat, but Barack Obama deflected that question ,by saying he welcomed that debate because John McCain is supporting a tax cut for the rich, where he is proposing a middle-class tax cut paid for by repealing the Bush tax cuts. posted by
