The next to last group has teed off and the leaders are at the No. 1 tee box waiting to begin their final round.

Ryan Vermeer comes into the final round at 11 under, while Jason Bates is 10 under.

The golfers begin play with ideal conditions with a very slight breeze that should allow them to attack the pins early.

Hole 1, 485 yards, par 4

Both Vermeer and Bates birdie. Bates hit his tee shot in the right bunker and pitched out to around 80 yards and then hit his approach shot to within 2 feet for an easy tap-in to get to 11 under

Vermeer was off to the right in the No. 9 fairway, hit his second shot on the green and two putted for birdie to get to 12 under.

Hole No. 2, 410 yards, par 4

Vermeer has problems around the green and takes a bogey, while Bates one putts for par and a share of the lead at 11 under.

Both golfers were in the fairway off the tee, but Vermeer puts his approach shot in a pot bunker just to the right of the front of the green and didn't come out cleanly and two putted for bogey. Bates was left of the green and chipped to two feet for an easy par.

Hole 3, 470 yard, par 4

Both come away with pars.

Bates hits is tee shot just left of the fairway about 200 yards out, Vermeer is in right rough, 165 out. Vermeer finds the green and Bates is just off the back of the green with their approach shots.

Bates chips to about 3 feet and makes putt, while Vermmer leaves is 35-foot birdie putt just short and taps in.

Both remain at 11-under.

Hole 4, 526 yards, par 5

Saving par. Vermeer drian a 7-8 foot putt and Bates a 4-footer to save par and remain tied at 11 under.

Bates was in the fairway right off the tee, while Vermeer found the right rough and a downward slope. Vermeer laid up to around 100 yards, but his approach was shot a spun back just missing a green side bunker. Bates also came up shot of th egreen on his approach shot.

Hole 5, 428 yards, par 4

Back in the lead

Vermeer nails a 5-foot birdie putt to go up a stroke on Bates.

Bates was in middle of fairway off tee and Vermeer was in the drainage ditch right of the hole. Verrmeer land his approach to within 5 feet and Bates was just left off the green about 25 feet. Bates' putt missed top side, while Vermeer drained his.

Vermer -12, Bates -11.

Hole 6, 348 yard, par 3

Vermeer up by 2

Bates looked to have the upper hand to get back into a tie when he hit his tee shot to within 4-feet, short and left of the hole. Vermeer was roughly 18 feet past and left.

Vermeer nailed his putt dead center, while Bates lipped out giving Vermeer a 2-shot advantage.

Vermeer -13, Bates -11.

Hole 7, 348 yards, par 4

With the pin tucked on the downslope toward the water, both players took pars and moved on.

Hole 8, 191 yard, par 3

Another miss opportunity for Bates

Bates hits his tee shot to with 4 feet, while Vermeer is short and looking at about a 30-fott putt. Vermeer misses right, leaving an opening for Bates, but Bates' putt stays left  and both make par.
