TDelaney - > Powerful Magical Symbols -> I know; I don't think, feel or believe
I know; I don't think, feel or believe

Make sure you choose the right word when considering, "think," "feel" and "believe." There are differences of meaning among these words.

* "Think" deals with thoughts, the mind (reasoning) and intellect.

For example: "I think therefore I am."  -- Descartes

* "Feel" deals with the sense of touch and the emotions.

For example: "I feel bad." (note: to feel badly means you have a problem with your sense of touch; maybe you have a nervous system problem?)

* "Believe" deals with faith and beliefs.

For example: "I believe in democracy."

Be sure to use the correct word. I believe I know this; you think?

Hi JulieZ -- Thanks for your great feedback. The "think," "feel,"  and "believe" differences are subtle but important.-- Tim
