Go Lakers? Go Spurs? I just don't know
If you've been listening to the voices in my head, you'd think the Lakers have no shot of beating the Spurs. Don't fall for that trap though. Los Angeles is dangerous and has more than enough depth and skill to dethrone the defending champs. The series starts tonight at 8 in Los Angeles. San Antonio has the overall team experience, but they don't have Kobe Bryant. That, in and of itself, is going to be huge in this series. Bryant is among the greatest players in NBA history, and is showing that he is a leader this year. His team is younger than the Spurs, and they match up pretty well. While S.A. doesn't have Bryant, the Lakers don't have Tim Duncan. His presence inside will be tough for Pau Gasol, and could be the deciding factor. Either way, we're sure to see an exciting series that has all the ingredients to last seven games. 1 comments from 1 users
