Why $19.99
I called the paper yesterday to place a classified ad for a garage sale I'm having this weekend. I was sitting here wondering why a garage sale ad cost $19.99. Doesn't that seem a bit much? I only wanted two lines for three days. I've been trying to figure it out all day. A family member went to the classifieds office this morning, placed the ad for me and it didn't cost $19.99. It makes me wonder if I have dumb*** stamped on my forehead or something. :) It's okay...I took full advantage of our wonderful advocate website and chatted up our garage sale. I'm hoping a lot of people visit us and buy everything we have out on the tables. We do need our local paper but just couldn't figure out why they're so expensive. 0 comments from 0 users
