Here's a little background on my avatar.

I took my wife, Meredith, fishing for Mother's Day (imagine that) this year. She worked really hard at conquering every shark and jack crevalle we encountered. To this day I am grateful that she was worn out from all her big catches, just enough for me to take my turn. With Meredith at the helm, I stood at the bow ready for our target species to appear. Within 60 seconds (Meredith had been waiting for 3 hours) a tarpon rolled by the boat and I pitched a bait to it. After 20 minutes and half a dozen acrobatic, surface bustin'  jumps later, the fish was dehooked and revived to swim another day.

Now, if it wasn't for my wife's excellent boat driving skills, we would have never landed this fish. I would also like to say she was driving the boat and taking pictures simultaneously. And what a fine job she did.

But it was still Happy Mother's Day to me ... next year - it's her turn.
