Former Smithsonian Institute curator and historian Lonn Taylor will deliver a lecture Thursday at the Cuero State Bank community room in Cuero.

The lecture is "My Love is a Rider: America's Affair with the Cowboy"

The presentation, sponsored by the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, begins at 6 p.m., said museum chairman Robert Oliver.
