Looking for Mars
A crisp, mostly clear sky tonight should make for fine viewing of the planet Mars.
The red planet has doubled in brightness over the past month and is easy to spot among the other heavenly bodies. It should be even easier to find tonight and Tuesday night as a full or nearly full moon slips past Mars. The two will be side by side in the eastern sky about 8 p.m. Click here for a locater map of the night sky. NASA and Spaceweather.com have more details on tonight's happening. Happy sky watching! 0 comments from 0 users
