Weird stuff in the night sky
One of my coworkers told me this week she saw something really interesting in the sky over east Victoria.
I'll call it a UFO for lack of a better term, although I don't believe we're being visited by ETs. Julie said she was enjoying the stars about 8:20 on Saturday evening, Feb. 23, when the outline of a dark object caught her eye. It was shaped like a V and had what appeared to be a row of lights on two sides, but they were not illuminated or they were very dim. The object made no noise and took about 10 or 12 seconds from the time she saw it until it passed overhead and out of sight. My best guess is that it was some type of military aircraft. I'm wondering if anyone else saw it or if you have any clue what it might have been. 7 comments from 5 users

While there ARE black budget projects being worked on as we speak, NONE of them are named Aurora. The Aurora name was one come up with by a reporter to explain the sitings and rumors of secret aircraft. Take a look at a map of the airspace around Victoria. We sit under a huge MOA (Miltary Operations Area). What was probably spotted was in all likelihood a B-2A Spirit Bomber based out of Whiteman AFB, Knob Noster, Missouri. They go all over the USA to differnt MOA's to practice their night navigation skills. and have a range that can take them halfway around the earth without refueling. So to have a Missouri Based Aircraft here in South Texas is nothing. The simplest explaination is often the most correct one.

That craft is known in the UFO community as the Aurora project. There have been many sitings all across the world describing the same type of craft. Many believe that it is a secret military craft capable of space flight as well.

It kind of reminds me of those high-tech stealth bombers. I forget the number designation. But I think those have a more obtuse angle at the nose. Hey! Maybe there's a secret Air Force test sight out here for new aircraft! That or maybe the Chinese are picking their approach for occupation. Who knows?
