Ike gave us the wake call we needed, but thankfully without the devastating results to our area. We were blessed not to have to endure the effects that our neighbor's to the north encountered. Oh by the way did you realize the other opportunity we may have missed also? I noticed that a number of autos were relocated from the Port Lavaca area to the Victoria area. One such gathering was on Stockbauer north of the Parkway Church. When do you remember having the opportunity to window shop without the annoying, fast talking and ingenuous sales person following you around.
