Jags look to extend 13-game win streak
This Wednesday at Riverside Stadium, the Jaguar baseball team will take on UT Brownsville in an attemp to improve on a 13 game win streak. The games will be at 2 and 5 pm. Also, the Lady Jags softball team will be playing at home at O'Conner Field on Tuesday at 4 and 6 pm. Be sure to go out and support both teams as we search for our first playoff bid. And just out of curiosity, what do yall think of the teams this year? Being the community that we are trying to represent, we would like to know what yall think of us, and believe me, you wont hurt my feelings haha.

I think it's great that there is college baseball in Victoria. I was surprized to hear it was UHV instead of Victoria College though. I would have thought that a JUCO team might have been better served. It probably would have been a stronger conference in that you would have been playing against Blinn, Alvin, Galveston, etc. more than likely. My hopes are that UHV gets into a stronger conference. I know, I know...baby steps. Having an ex-pro as a head coach helps with recruiting. It definitely helps with local support though that you are in the playoff bids your very first season. Good job.
