This afternoon I saw a young woman in a late model car. She was in front of me (she was in the lanes heading my direction) and she was frantically looking down, beside, and behind her. She had a green light and the truck behind her was honking in a very irate manner.
I quickly realized her car had died. She put on her flashing lights and the driver of the truck squealed the trucks tires, gave her the finger, as he yelled and drove off. Next car comes up (this is all in a matter of less than a minute). The light is still green and this driver honks and yells at her too.
What bothers me here is this woman was obviously already having a bad day with her car not working, why make it worse by yelling at her? It was not her fault; I doubt she intentionally thought, Hmmm
I think I will go sit in an intersection today and see who I can tick off.
People in trouble need compassion and empathy not the finger and cuss words!
Until next time,
