There are many beautiful and interesting Christmas lights displays out there to see. One of the neatest ones I have seen is in College Station. Our family tries to go every year. If you are up for a drive I suggest going to see it. Make a day of it, get to town early enough to go see

Texas A&M. Go visit Santa in the Post Oak Mall. There are several nice places to eat and when it starts to get dark head out to
http://www.landoflights.com... target='_blank'>Santa's Wonderland(just out of College Station on Hwy 6 North). There are millions of lights that dance and move about. You drive through in your own car and it usually takes about 20 minutes (driving VERY slowly). Afterwards visit Tombstone, Texas, which is part of the same company. There a big bonfire can warm you while you shop through small arts & crafts stores, or visit Santa.
It may be a bit of a drive, but it is worth it. My best advice is if you go, do not wait until it gets dark to get in line or you will be there a long time.
Until next time,
JB
