On April 17th, I was waiting for my daughter to get out of school at  O' Connor  and I witnessed a few children bringing down the Texas Flag and the United States flag.  What I saw next really bothered me, two of  the children started to play with the flags as if it was a household towel or a rag!  There was not  an administrator or a teacher to watch these young kids.  Many men and women have given the ultimate sacrifice for this country and I think showing some respect is in order.  To let children bring down the emblem of our nation and not be present to make sure it does not touch the ground or to at least watch them is a show of disrespect in my opinion.  I have alot of friends that have fought for this country and I feel they would be hurt to see this.  Maybe something will be addressed to make sure this doesn't happen again.  Just sayin...
