I would like to take this time to say Thank You to some good hearted people whom took the time out to donate some awesome things to the Hurricane Ike  evacuees that are staying here in Victoria. As soon as I posted my last blog my phone has been ringing off the hook.

The only two things I am lacking are women's size 19 pants and children's toys for all ages.If any of you come across any of these items and want to donate them please feel free to give me a call at 361-655-1400.

I'm asking for the publics help.

I really need your guys help.If you have any extra clothes of any size that you don't need please feel free to bring them to Riverside.

We are lacking hygiene's,canned goods,baby items and Shoes,Big time....

Everyone is welcome to come out and meet the people these items will be going to.

Refreshments and hot dogs will be served.If you have a dish you'd like to bring out to help feed the evacuees it will be highly appreciated.

From 1-4 at the Riverside Multiplex we will be out there taking donations of any kind.Please come join us..

Today I received a letter in the mail from Country Wide.

The letter wrote:

Dear Angela Peoples,

We are writing to inform you that we recently became aware that a Countrywide employee(now former) may have sold unauthorized personal information about you to a third party.Based on a joint investigation conducted by Countrywide and law enforcement authorities,it was determined that the customer information involved in this incident included your name,address,Social Security number,mortgage loan number,and various other loan and application information.

We deeply regret this incident and apologize for any inconvenience or concern it may cause you.We take our responsibility to safe guard your information very seriously and will not tolerate any actions that compromise the privacy and security of our customers' information.We have terminated the individual's access to customer information and he is no longer employed by Countrywide.Countrywide will continue to work with law enforcement authorities to pursue further actions as appropriate.

What do you all think of this letter?What would you do if you were in my position?Advice needed,please.

If a child is 17 and has been living with someone else(for over 4 months) besides either parent will a officer make the 17 year old return to there parents home if the parents suddenly decide they want there child at home?

Even with a job,in school,and taking care of one's self?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Corpus has always been our destination spot when we travel but we've decided to change things up a bit and head to San Antonio next weekend.I've searched the web and have found many  places to go to in S.A. but would like to hear from people that have actually been to SA and what they thought about the city and there attractions.

We are also looking for a nice Hotel to stay at that is worth what you pay for.

Can anyone tell me what type of duck has a puffy little ball of hair on the top of it's head ?

We found two little baby ducks on the hwy.The Mother and the other little one's didn't make it.One duck is yellow and the other one is to but has this hilarious Mohawk looking hair doo.What's up with that?

Are ducks legal to have in the city limits?

If not,does anyone want two ducks:)
