YES TO NUKES
NUKES DO NO DISCHARGE ANY TYPE OF NUCLEAR WASTE INTO THE WATER SYSTEMS,THEY HAVE ALL TYPES OF SYSTEMS TO CHECK FOR LEAKS. IF THEY DON'T BULID IT IN VICTORIA , THEY WILL BUILD IT DOWN THE ROAD WITH THE SAME EFFECTS, VICTORIA NEEDS THE ECONOMY,ONLY WATER LOST IS IN EVAPORATION, WHICH TURNS TO RAIN,ONLY TIME THE WATER IN THE PLANT CAN BECOME RADIOACTIVE IS WHEN THERE IS A LEAK IN A TUBE , THE WATER IS DETECTED ISOLATED REPAIRED AND DISPOSED OF SAFELY.I LIVE ON THE BACK BAYS IN PORT LAVACA I WORRY MORE ABOUT THE MANURE AND ALL THE CHEMICALS AND PESTICIDES ARE INTRODUCED TO THE RIVERS FROM YOUR YARDS AND FARMS.

Whats up DOC,I HAVE been keeing up with your activitys , keep it up, keep them boys on there toes , hope you been doing fine,HAVENT SEEN MANY OF THE OLD BOYS LATELY, about nukes , there safe , built them . worked in them ,no problem , noW about all the different places we can get radiation  OR RADIACTIVE MATERIALS, i don't have time to pull my head out of the sand and explain IT to all the red necks out there ,FIRST ASK THE GOOD LORD ,  THEN   maybe we should shut down all systems that deal with hydrocarbons to start with''' read up on N.O.R.M.,AND SEE WHERE WE WILL GO , THEN WE WILL TALK ABOUT NUCLEAR POWER.once again nuke plants are safe , now how and where we get the ore to operate them is a hole different discussion.Goliad needs to stand there ground ,i don't feel confortable in how the industry controls the mining operations  and processes............

Hey WOP! Be very careful with this guy! Under that cowboy hat he's got tin foil to stop the alien radio waves! Yes, there is indeed NATURALLY OCCURING radionuclides in much of the groundwater but they have literally nothing to do with nuclear plants! Indeed, all of both Victoria and Calhoun County, according to the Texas Railroad Commission, has a solid layer of uranium. Thorium, in dangerous levels,  has been found naturally occuring, in a well just miles from my house.

Thanks for the head in the sand viewpoint.  Living in Port Lavaca as you do, you won't mind the fact that your water tap already (until three months ago and a series of my own efforts, that is) is heavily contaminated with radioactive materials, among them uranium.

When you don't know what you're talking about - except for what you get from television and the Internet - have at least the good will to avoid deceiving people like you.  That's just gossip, you know.
