Cool tip for Saturday and beyond...
I would like to share with you, a radio station I have been listening to since 1970 - KPFT FM 90.1. It is a Pacifica station - no ocean reference here, peace is the theme. KPFT is a listener sponsored station, and it's format ranges from a wide range of music to Democracy Now to any number of discussion topics. It's appeal is planetary, and not everyone will agree with all of it's content. It has been bombed off the air a couple of times by right wing extremists during wartime for it's promotion of peace. I will let you be the judge, as I reveal a bit more about myself by my endorsement of the station. As I said, you may not agree with some or any of the message, but that is why there are knobs or buttons on your radio or computer.

KPFT is online at: http://houston.kpft.org/sit... target='_blank'>KPFT 90.1 If your internet connection is of sufficient bandwidth to handle a streaming feed, give it a listen. I welcome your feedback. If you tap in to the brodcast soon, you will be catching them in their quarterly begging mode. As I said, they are listener sponsored, and the pledge drive is necessary - please don't be put off by it. If you like the programming and want to contribute, it will certainly be appreciated, but if you choose to lurk and listen, and like what you hear, please pass it on to others. Thank you - PEACE.
