The Heisman Trophy is awarded each year to the best college football athlete in the country. It is the highest honor in college football and has only been awarded to either a junior or a senior…that is until this year. Tim Tebow the outstanding quarterback for the Florida Gators, a sophomore was named this year's Heisman Trophy winner. His performance on the field has been outstanding and his fans have made him a legend.

Tebowisms has become all the rage with Gators fans on the Internet. A sampling: Superman wears Tim Tebow pajamas. Tim Tebow has counted to infinity ... twice. Tim Tebow ordered a Big Mac at Burger King, and got one.

But then, as Paul Harvey would say, "for the rest of the story"…………&helli p;.

University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has worked and preached at his parents’ orphanage since he was 15. He regularly speaks at schools and delivered his message of faith at a prison in Florida earlier this year.

If his mother had followed her doctor's advice when she was carrying him, he would have been dismembered by abortion.
Tim's parents, Bob and Pam Tebow, moved to the Philippines in 1985 to conduct a Christian missionary outreach. While pregnant with Tim, Pam contracted amoebic dysentery through contaminated drinking water. Her doctor told her that the medications she needed to recover would result in irreversible damage to the child she was carrying. She was advised to have an abortion. She refused. Tim was born healthy and robust in 1987. His mother described him as "skinny, but rather long." Today he stands six-foot-three, weighs 235 pounds, and has been described as a physical and athletic phenomenon.

You too can help save someone's future hero. The Candlelight March for Life will be held on Thursday, January the 24th. Starting at Jerusalem Family Faith Church at 208 N. Ben Wilson the March will wind its way to the new Holy Trinity Chapel at 2901 Pleasant Green Drive.

This year's speaker will be Eric Whittington, the Executive Director of Youth Outreach for the American Life League in Virginia. He is also the Director of Rock for Life, the band organization that is so popular with youth.

Mark January 24th on your calendar and come to the Candlelight March for Life.

Sincerely, Wm. Paul Tasin 204 Fairway Victoria, Texas 77904 578-2002
