where are the shows
hi every body i'm a two year resident to victoria and i'm trying to find out when and where the art shows happen around here for local artist's to show off and possibly sell some work, i'm turning out some good work but it's all going to people in the mid west or florida area, where's the market around here, what nobody likes art in victoria

where are the art shows in this town, i know there are artist's here, don't hide i'm looking for you. i'm turning out some work and would like to display my work somewhere besides my own walls, i'm running out of space....."come out come out where ever you are"

Wow I'm so excited! I'm an artist myself and I didn't know if there were any places for me to display my art work here in Victoria. I personally don't trust puting pictures of my art work on the web for fear of people copying my work. Thanks Aprill.

I would love to see some of your work. Why don't you post some here? I never thought about displaying mine outside of what's on my desk at work. I usually just sell them when I finish. So please, let us enjoy it here! :) posted by

If you become a member of the Victoria Art League, they have rotating displays of member's artwork. You can call them at 572-0825. I also think the Long Leaf Coffee Company (downtown) sometimes displays artwork and I think from time to time the Downtown Bar and Grill has art shows. Also the newly opened Rock N Roll Candy Store on Laurent displays artwork.
