Rethink that vacation to the beach . . .
In the Houston Cronicle it has been stated that the Texas beaches are even nastier than ever. The percent of fecal matter and bacteria in several popular Texas beaches has risen 12% since last year. It is not only animal and sea animal but human fecal matter that has been tested positve for in the ocean. So rethink that trip to the beach and don't swallow the water.

Ok you really have too much time on your hands to break down your week, but unlike you and I don't know what you do or anything. I hate golf, I don't spend an hour a day cleaning for my house doesn't get out of order anyways though it is spotless, I get to work very early and get off late depending on how busy my hospital's Emergency Room is, and I never get 8 hours of sleep ever. So you may not work 80 hours a week but I come close to it. posted by

Don't drink the water if you ventue there. I used to feel the same way until I broke down a true work week..... If I worked 80 hours a week......I would 88 left If I slept 8 hours a day (7)...I would have 32 left If I cooked and ate for 1 1/2 hour a day, I'd have 21 1/2 hours left If I honestly spent an hour a day cleaning and household chores, I'd have 14 1/2 left If it took me 15 minutes to get to work and back (1/2 total), I'd have 10.5 left I can play a round of golf in 3.5 hours. Therefore, I could work 80 hours a week, get plenty of rest, eat well, keep up with my chores, and still have time to play golf twice a week! And I rarely work 80 hours a week. Do you? posted by

From what I read in the VA it hasn't affected Magnolia or Indianola Beach. Hope that that is not the case, as we love those areas. posted by
