Author admits he was a pimp in France
James Lipton's new book Inside Inside garnered interest when the host of Inside the Actor's Studio revealed he was once a pimp in France.

Some readers criticized his memoirs as another bad attempt by an actor who thinks he can write, but others love the insight into a life much surrounded by actors, Broadway and writing and producing a popular television show.

Reading the allusion-filled grandiose writing may prove a little dull, but the memoirs are full of interesting tidbits that keep us sifting for more.
