One of the worst scams out there comes in the mail. The last one I got was a check for 8500. If deposited then the source could track back to my bank account and assets. Be careful folks. Lots of thievery going on in these times.

You must be kinda new to the internet. I have probably gotten at least a couple of hundred of these silly things in the last 2 or 3 years. The problem is there are some people who actually get involved with these crooks. MSNBC did a sting operation and a great many of these letters are initiated in Kenya, other African countries and now I understand the Chinese are racking up. You really have no recourse according to the guys on the TV show.....no one to complain to or report the action to. The countries the people are from could care less. posted by
