Living with GOD

I found GOD and JESUS the most unusual way. Let me explain.

One day I was reading the bible, and I read where we should love GOD AND JESUS with all our   hart, strenth  and mind. I told jesus I needed to know him  if  I was to give my love.  It wasn't long till I had a shoulder injury, hart problems and cancer.

Well in about 2 weeks I had the suragery for shoulder, cancer and a stint.

For te next 3 three months I read the new testament 3 times and the old 1 complete time.  I feel that was the greatest blessing I could ever have.

For now I can honestly say I do GOD and  JESUS with all my strength mind and hart..

So take the time to get to GOD and JESUS.

 love Thomas

Hello Thomas,

Thanks for your Christian witness here on the internet. It's quite refreshing.

I also had a huge conversion experience from reading the Bible back when I was in my early 20s; it turned my life around. God was after me, as he is after all of us, and I let him catch me.  He does not force us against our will.

One can also say that for you to have found God in the way that you did before you got ill was God's way of preparing and helping you. Things happen for a reason.   We'll find out why later.

God bless you, and again, thanks for your testimony.

Mary Ann

THOMAS: If anyone told you that all your troubles would be over when you took the steps you wrote about, they're either liars, idiots or just uninitiated. You can expect more trials but the Lord will be there for you, just ask Him. Good luck in your new walk.

Try Khalil Gibran's "The Prophet". Therein lies beauty and truth.

You told Jesus you needed to know him in order to love him and you got a shoulder injury, cancer and heart problems? And that proves there is a Jesus how exactly? If you want some advice though check out this site!! www.ffrf.org

Thomas,

May Adonai bless you and keep you. I pray He will shine His face upon you and give you peace! Always remember that Israel is God's time clock. Read Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel 38 & 39. It's my belief we are living in the end times.

So the answer is in an old book....Thomas, I wish you well, and a speedy recovery. I want you to know, that despite your recent revelations, there are more books and teachers out there. Do not restrict yourself to one, but open your mind and heart to all of the possibilities and the teachings and religious and spiritual resources available. Good vs evil is not a proprietary thing owned and controlled by the bible. If after you have sought and received input from the world's many religions, and prophets, past and present, you feel still as you do, then bless you and godspeed. I hope you are old enough to comprehend the phrase..."don't put all your eggs in one basket". To continue to search is to understand. To say one book is right and all the others are wrong, is to say "my mind is closed". You do not strike me as one who has a closed mind.
