New Batman cartoon will bridge movie gap
An interesting concept in extending storylines for die hard fans. Warner Home Video is releasing BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT July 8th. The animated DVD will feature 6 new stories that is supposed tie in the story from “Batman Begins” to “The Dark Knight” and features seasoned animated cartoon and traditional comic book talent. I find this interesting. The Star Wars franchise has done this, and is continuing to do this with its Clone Wars tie ins. To be honest, some of us fan boys cant get enough of it anyway, especially in the magical summer months where conventions and blockbuster movies run rampant 3 comments from 3 users

The first episode was kind of weird. Interesting, but weird. It ended pretty quickly and went to the next one. When that one ended, I knew what was up because the style was different. I said, "Oh, this must be like the Animatrix..." and grabbed the DVD case to find out it was indeed. I didn't like it not because it wasn't the traditional batman. It just wasn't for my (or the kids') taste. posted by
