I'm recruiting people for my "solo" project THE LOVELETTER It's very different from the Luchadores and it's something I have been doing for a few years now, I started out with just me and a piano, now it's branching out to other sounds. Recent events have convinced me to take this music on the stage (I havent played a Loveletter song on stage in about 4 years) I wont be doing this project half way... It's something I really care about. I will be booking gigs, getting merch,...

I blame it all on Youtube. There I was.. just sifting through the net bored to tears and I pulled up the popular website to kill some time. And there it was... one of the featured videos on the front page... the robotic band... THE TRONS. I was immediately intrigued by the music, and the fact there was not a human on the video, yet there they were, playing human instruments... I had to find out more, so after some digging on the net, I found a contact to the band's manager (creator) Greg...

Popular photo site “Flikr” is going to partner with “Getty” images in a unique way. Getty is going to search through the photo site and look for pictures that may have some sort of media value. (Think websites, newspapers, magazines, advertisements) Getty will contact the amatuer picture taker and solicit the photog into licensing the picture. The profit of the sale will be divided. (hey you knew there had to be a middle man somewhere) It was just a few days ago,...

Making the news headlines today is the prospect of Sega Toys new “Robot Girlfriend” which is sadly enough marketed towards lonely adult men… But wait! Its not really what you think. It’s a 15 inch transformer looking female robot which looks more like a toy than a girl. It’s supposed to be able to dance for you (thats kind of creepy in a car accident sort of way) and can even hand out business cards for you. It also kisses anyone in the room on command....

An interesting concept in extending storylines for die hard fans. Warner Home Video is releasing BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT July 8th. The animated DVD will feature 6 new stories that is supposed tie in the story from “Batman Begins” to “The Dark Knight” and features seasoned animated cartoon and traditional comic book talent. I find this interesting.  The Star Wars franchise has done this, and is continuing to do this with its Clone Wars tie ins.  To be...

Today is the 4th of July and while we should all take a little time to reflect about being in a wonderful free country, my coworker yesterday suggested that we all take some time to practice a little independence ourselves.   I agree, why wait for New Year’s Day to come back for us to feel the need to change something in our lives? If there is something in your life you find yourself a slave to, or something that is bringing you down, maybe practicing a little independence...

When I saw this youtube clip, I was suprised. A good example of how we are spoon fed to believe that just because something is "new" it is better. I am not a fan of the Government giving us less choices. After all a government is meant to be ruled by the people. Nowadays, we are being told that we should buy a high def television, how much trash we can produce locally per household every week, what tests (standardized)our kids should take in school since of course they believe...
