KEELING ADMITS SHE MISLEAD PUBLIC
Keeling admits misleading the public in a cleverly worded statement. I hope the general public can see through these tactics. Will you be removing your commercials from the air because it is not true that Dr. Jaynes cannot vote on VISD's compensation package? Are you familiar with "Election Fraud"? I really don't think "MISIMPRESSION" is the appropriate word to use!!!

Dear WeNeedChange I am so glad that he is ethical, as I am sure he is. I have been very concerned about his wife and her actions. I was told directly by a teacher that she approached and asked where this teacher lived. After the response, she said good you are going to vote for Charlie right. I think this in violation of a VISD policy about campaigning during school time? Let me re-state that - time the TAX payers are paying for. I do NOT think that is ethical at all. I am very interested to know who really got Charlie to run, who is backing his campaign and could it be other members who have an agenda that would be counter productive to the progress that has already been made in the district!!! The things eveyone is bringing up is SMOKE and GUNS compared to what would happen if personal agenda is allowed to wreck district progess. And don't fool yourself that is what is cooking out there. You have to be very very careful who you "go to bed with" it can bite you!!! posted by

Dr. Jaynes has already placed himself in a vicarious position by running for school board. Given the fact his son-in-law is a VISD employee and his wife is the drill team instructor his motives for running for school board could be questionable. Voting on benefits and salaries for VISD employees would be a conflict of interest since a raise for a family member would benefit his family income. I have taught Business Ethics at the local college for many years. Ethics are what we learn as being right or wrong. I am sure Dr. Jaynes is an ethical man, however if elected he will be faced with many choices as to what is "right" for VISD. Are his motives "right" for VISD?

I think it is best not to say unkind things about Dr. Jaynes grandkids. You have the right to your opinion but they are not running he is. Everyone should focus on the qualifications of the candidates. I know for sure that Tami Keeling is not saying unkind things about his family. posted by

arent he needing to remove his bratty grandkids from his commercial. The only place they are cute is on radio where you cant see their behavior. They tend to run amuck in public posted by

Warmore I think you need to look up the definition of "election fraud" and be very careful how you use this phrase. Here you go: Electoral fraud is illegal interference with the process of an election. Acts of fraud tend to involve affecting vote counts to bring about a desired election outcome. Bottom line Mrs. Keeling only went on what the board had ETHICALLY done in the past, members who had family employeed by VISD took the MORAL high ground. Is Dr. Jaynes going to do that?
