From……..community.victoriaadvocate.com/home/Blog/BIGJ/7603

Before the 2008 Election primaries. I had shared my idea with friends and also online on a how to solve or at least stop most of the violence in the Middle East. Even though some Americans laugh at my suggestions. I was surprised that Israeli and Arabs, who are closer to my age, agrees with my ideas.

I believe in Psalm 34:14 “Depart from evil, and do good, seek peace, and pursue it.” I believe in this passage is key not only for Israel or Palestine, but for the those within the United States. The United States is not doing enough in stopping the violence. I do not mean to say that America should invade the Middle East. I mean America should treat both side as equals. By being fair America would directly or indirectly make gains for peace.

Here is my proposal.

Article 1: All nations within the Middle East must recognized the state and the people of Israel.

Article 2: All minority rights in Israel and Palestine shall be respect though civil, political, and social reforms.

Article 3: An international commission of 28 nations shall be created to protect the peace in Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon.

A) Each nation shall be appointed by Security Council of the United Nations.

B) The commission of 28 shall consists of fourteen (14) western democracies and fourteen (14) Islamic nations.

C) This commission shall run its course for 50 years.

Article 4: All signers shall agree to a non aggressive policy toward one other.

Article 5: All Religious buildings, sites, speech and freedom shall be respect by all parties.

Article 6: The sovereignty of Lebanon shall be respected by all parties.

Article 7: All parties must created legal and fair trade with Israel, Lebanon, and Palestine.

Article 8: The commission nations shall seek and dismantled terrorist organizations under the constitutional laws of each individual nation.

Article 9: All nations in the Middle East Region agree on reducing the sell, purchasing, and lending of weapons and arms.

Article 10: The parties shall impose an ban on nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons in the region.

Article 11: All parties shall have the right of self defense.

Article 12: The commission shall enforce all regulations lawfully. (Swiss Guard shall act as a anti-terror force.)

Article 13: This treaty as well as the commission shall expire in fifty (50) years.

Instead of the Texas Legislature (Along with Hegar and Morrison) trying to produce an idea that might steal water from land owners, farms, and ranches. Would it be better to build three or four Desalination plants along the Texas Coast. each feeding urban areas?

Before someone claims that desalination is costly, I want to know why. It is better to create jobs, feed animals, and yes a stop measure against a future big drought?
</itunes:summary>

Someone please....please buy the Dallas Cowboys from Jerry Jones. That man is the worse owner in NFL history. I rather have Mark Cuba and George W. Bush to buy the team.

Get rid of T.O. Pacman, and that Jessica Simpson loving quaterback. Plus get rid of the Joel Osteen version of a head coach in Wade Phillips.

“The Republican from Victoria plans to introduce legislation and propose changes to the Texas House appropriations bill that she thinks will encourage universities to get students to graduation. She spoke about her legislative goals this week in an interview at the offices of the Victoria Advocate."

Current appropriations stipulate that universities receive funding for the number of students in class on the 12th day of the semester, Morrison said. She would like to change this to the last day of class.”

Here is my question to the Texas State Rep? What about House Bill 3015????? The Bill now law that favors tuition deregulation, which the University of Texas and Texas A&M lobbied for? And how come the Victoria A&M Club gave you an award within the same year of that bill?

Your deregulation bill did more in preventing and slowing down students from graduating college. My question also goes to State Senator Hegar as well.

I hope that Victoria Advocate reporter Madeline Lewis and others will asked the State Rep my questions.

The soon to be 44th President of the United States had done something I am more prideful of. Barack Hussein Obama manage to anger the Left wing as well as the Right Wing.

Personally, I believe that conservatives and liberals are ruining things in this country. Barack Obama anger the right wing by winning the election thus making crybabies out of grown men like James Dobson, Sean Hannity, Hal Turner, Ben Ferguson, Sarah Palin, and WOAI’s Joe Paggs.

The Liberal faction of the Democratic Party also got stung by Obama’s choice for Interior Secretary Senator Ken Salazar (D-CO), who had angered the Global Warming crowd. Then he pick Rev. Rick Warren for the inauguration, who angered the social liberals.

One Question is Obama the closet Blue Dog Democrat?

At the heart of our future is a tax system created by and for the wealthiest Texans. Over the last five years, Rick Perry and Tom Craddick quietly killed the Texas inheritance tax and instead moved the burden of revenues for college tuition to thousands of Texas students who now have a distant dream of college in the face of rising tuition. More and more, the tax burden in Texas has shifted to local property tax payers who pay for public schools and hospitals, to ordinary citizens who pay exorbitant fees for driving infractions, new business income taxes and licenses, and finally to working families who pay one of the highest sales taxes in America.

Quietly, Perry and Craddick have shifted the tax burden in Texas from the wealthy few to you. Your property taxes are now 15th highest in America and for elderly Texans, just holding onto their home is a daily challenge.

Let us resolve now to invest in young Texans today to create a tax system fair enough to fund our future in order to guarantee the prosperity of all Texans tomorrow.

I think Senator Shepleigh is forgetting someone and that is House Rep Geanie Morrison ( R-Victoria) when she wrote and helped passed the Tutition derelagution in 2003.

Big J, with all due respect, I don't believe you. I give you more credit than that. You'd like to hear your doctor say, "Never mind about what your physical examination tells me, just hope - it'll take care of you." How about a commander whose intelligence office comes to him and says, "Never mind what we know about the enemy or our resources, just hope and trust everything will be all right." You'd like having your free press tell you to forget about what's happening, just hope in a better day tomorrow?

Hope is all right for individuals concerning things that affect only them, but no one has the moral or ethical right to demand that others rely upon mere hope (and trust). You're right, however, concerning the difference in our ages. One of the reasons historians will give for the decline and fall of the U.S. is the fact that young people stopped listening to their elders (and their elders stopped teaching them). I have lived through one liars contest political campaign after another, for instance, such that I recognize the same tired promises no matter how they are packaged in rhetoric. I know a liar because I have been lied to again and again and again. I know the U.S. Government and the corporations who own it because I did the reconnaissance necessary to know them. I know what they say in private and secret.

Hope is tantamount to a form of insanity when it is based upon ignorance - especially the ignorance of youth. Waht I write about is real, my young friend, and I am morally obligated - to the nation's youth (like my grandkids) to say it.

Mr. Hal von Luebbert aka Spock.

Here is my response. First of all, if you don’t believe me fine, but suggesting that I am lying to you. I could take that as an insult.

You sir have a huge, huge misunderstanding of my words and about hope. Hope without action, will, or determination is nothing. That type of hope is empty and lost. Our Lord told us in hard times to be hopeful and have faith.

You and I have two different points of view. We, both, are from different generation, a different race, a different background, and a different political ideology. I do agree with you about the CIA and FBI. Where we differ is the tactic, attitude, and yes mentality. I firmly believe that America will be a better, greater nation once we get some of the problems solve. I will go out on a limb (increasing my unpopularity) and say that the Presidential election is the first step in terms of social/racial justice, but that another issue.

Everyone is talking about the economy and how bad it is. My family (myself somewhat) include were poor and had hard times. Therefore we are used to it.

Being and acting like Chicken Little does nothing but to add fear, hate, and misunderstanding. It is ashamed that an individual like yourself, who are 50 plus years older than me to lack the much needed wisdom. Mr. Luebbert, we as a society, a nation, do not need any more Chicken Littles. What we need is people who is proactive, compassionate, understanding, strong, and yes hopeful.

Unlike some people, I do not stand on the sidelines. I stop being on the sidelines since the Iraq War begin. My ideas on my blog (The New Society) is not some empty threat, a lonely cry in the dark, or series of ill-advised backward comments, but a blue print and political platform.

I refuse to be a Chicken Little. I would have hope than to have fear. Peter had HOPE when he walked on water, but fail into the drink when FEAR sets in. That is the True AUDACITY of HOPE working over the Audacity of fear.

Actually, fear is tantamount to a form of the insanity when it is based upon ignorance, misunderstanding, doubt, hate, stupidity, and indifference.

                <itunes:summary>
Just kiddin….well sorta. The American economy need to be fixed. If I had my way the dollar need to be stronger and trade policies must honor the American worker as well as those in sweatshops.

Here is my plan.

1) Paying off the National Debt.
I believe that you use the oil and natural gas in Alaska, mainly ANWR, trade it with China and India in exchange for payment of debt. This is double edge sword. Once the debt is pay

2) Breaking up the Federal Reserve.
Either ridding the Federal Reserve or breaking them up is a good idea. But I think breaking them up into regional reserves. Wall Street and New York should NOT have all the power when it comes to financial issues.
My idea for the new reserve system is based on the regions. I think the South, the Northeast, Texas, Mid West, Southwest, Pacific Northwest, etc should appointed by the state governors within the respective regions.

3) I would take a page out of the FDR/JFK and the remake of the TWA/moonshot project. Create an “energy city “ to build an new power grid system in the Southwest. Using Nuclear, Solar, Plasma, Geothermal, wind, gas, Coal etc as the base.

4) Enforce the anti-trust laws that are already in the books and updated them if needed. For an example, At&t was finally broken up in January 1982 , but was reconstituted in 2005. That ain’t right.

5) The return to the “Cross of Gold”. Williams Jennings Bryan propose that the American dollar to be back by Gold and Silver. I suggest that we go even further than that, I would add some precious metals and ore.

6) Double taxation on companies that do predatory leaning.

7) END NAFTA. END CAFTA. END SHAFTA.

8) Issue tariffs on Mexico and other countries for causing illegal immigration.

9) Increase capitol gains taxes by 35% on manufacturing companies that hire illegals.

10) Bail out the American auto industry.

11) Cancel the bail out to Wall Street.

12) Decrease capitol gain taxes by 75% for a period of five years.

Auto Bail Out.

In the past two or three months, I found myself against the bail out of Wall Street because of the money was not going to pay for the homeowners. The bail out bill also fail to punish Wall Street and the two lame Washington insiders, Dodd and Frank.

I would also hope and pray that the Texas government ( Hagar& Morrison) and our state’s Attorney General to sued and punish companies like A.I.G for misusing the some of the 700 billion for parties.

Now I am now…..wait for it….wait for it……...in favor for bailing out the auto industry. Here is my reason. My main reason is to save the 4 million jobs and for national security reasons if or when another major war breaks out.

If I had my way here is how I would do the “bail out”.

1) The money is a loan with 10% interest.

2) The money must be paid back within 5 years.

3) The top brass must resign.

4) The Unions such as UAW shall have no power.

5) Mandate renewal/green engines or increase production of Flex fuel engine.
