http://community.victoriaadvocate.com/home/Blog/Crobar/5836 Today people with gather with family and friends to consume mass quantities of traditional turkey and dressing.  It is a day of celebration and to recognize what we have.  However, in reality we gather with friends and family, talk and catch up, gorge ourselves and watch the game on TV.  I'm not saying this is a bad thing at all.  I'm would love to participate this year.  Unfortunately, like many others, I have to work this day.  I must go to work so I can pay the bills instead of enjoying that time with friends and family. So, when you're finishing off that last helping of stuffing, don't forget what this day is actually about and don't forget about those who keep working as the remainder of the populace eats, drinks and enjoys much merriment.
