I freely admit it. My husband, Robert, might even agree with that statement during certain times of the month. But in this case I'm talking about past halloweens and  my costume choices. I was a zombie once but more interestingly, a man. How liberating and empowing to dress in a suit and tie and don my grease painted, stippled on beard. I even walked a little differently. I swaggered with confidence as I entered the small hospital where I worked as an admitting clerk. I enjoyed the surprised and shocked expressions on my co-workers faces as I told them hello in the manliest and deepest voice I could muster. I guess it was even more strange to them because I have always been such a girly-girl--they weren't expecting me to dress so "strangely". That made the moment even sweeter!</p> <p>This year I have a few ideas for costumes but I haven't nailed anything down yet. I was thinking that maybe Peg Bundy from the old t.v. show, Married with Children, would be a good one. I mean, I already have the red hair (thank you Clairol) so all I need to do is tease it up and get some sort of gaudy clothes to wear. Oh yeah, and add the over-the-top makeup. We'll see. Any suggestions would be appreciated ( well...maybe. I've seen some pretty mean posts lately). Any <em>constructive</em> suggestions would be appreciated.</p>

You <strong><em>both agreed on this before the debate</em></strong>. How can we trust you with our country when you can't follow simple rules---that you've agreed to follow?!"<br /> <br /> Frustrating. But tonights debate hasn't changed anything in my mind. I'm still voting the same as I had already planned. I'm not trying to get a political discussion going here, I just wanted to point out how sad it is that politicians are locked into these predictable  outcomes. Nobody's  really a maverick.
