        <title>ON THE EMPLOYMENT BUBBLE? - OLD RUSTY BUCKET - OLDRUSTYBUCKET1&apos;s Blog - Victoria Advocate</title>
        <link>http://community.victoriaadvocate.com/home/Blog/OLDRUSTYBUCKET1/7544</link>
<description>Limited mobility has Rusty restricted to just a few tasks on this job site. His main assignment activity has come to a screechin&#039; halt and nobody can tell him when it will resume. One answer is &amp;quot;sometime next year&amp;quot;. Kinda makes one a little &amp;quot;goosey&amp;quot;, ya know?
However, one engineer who is fanny deep in paper work is asking his boss about transfering Rusty to his department.
It looks like grandpa is going to have to settle for&amp;nbsp;desk work after all those years &amp;quot;in the field.&amp;quot; But, income is income so we&#039;ll take what we can get. Maybe the Excelon project will start in time for some of us old guys to pick up a crumb or two.
A young person just starting a career would do well to find a niche in quality control or quality assurance for the scads of nuclear construction scheduled for the next several years. Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs)&amp;nbsp;will really be in great demand. They are now.
