Many of these players will never play college football much less pro football. To my knowledge the only local person we have playing pro football is Jerheme Urban with the Arizona Cardinals. Most of our coaches&nbsp;will never exceed the high school level and most have no desire to go to a higher level. You'll argue over offense, defense, running and passing games, coaches, etc. This places much stress on the players who are simply there to have fun. Most of those boys know they are not potential college players. Even the very best of coaches in South Texas produce only a small handful of Division I football players over a coaches entire career. Many of you have spoken of Coach Reeve. He is an excellent coach. It's Friday and tonight high school football will cover the state of Texas. This has been a very stressful month. We've had Hurricane's, Bailouts, Wall Street, local government&nbsp;and many personal problems. Tonight would be a great night to go to a high school game and have a good time. Victoria Memorial vs Carroll would be a good choice. Go watch Calhoun, Industrial, Refugio, Cuero, Edna, Goliad, St. Joe.&nbsp;In Texas, Friday night is not a good time for political debates but it is a great time for high school football. At kickoff the temperature should be about 78 degrees with about 55% humidity with a slight wind. What a night.
