<itunes:summary>I was recently asked if I could sing the words to the original Batman theme song, and I mean the one from back in the day when Batman was an animated cartoon chessy as it was but we youngsters loved it. But it was a contest at work that if I sang the orginal theme song I could win Batman Dark Knight tickets. There were aloyt of people that were getting stumped and trying to remember, but as it came to my turn it snapped into my head and I was like "I know this its easy." I look at the judges straight in the face and sang, " Duh-na duh-na duh-na duh-na. . . Batman!!!" And low and behold it was the right answer. And I won ha ha that was great, and here was everyone else in line and surrounding the area were slapping their heads saying " I knew that duh!!!" How great was that.</itunes:summary>

The percent of fecal matter and bacteria in several popular Texas beaches has risen 12% since last year.
when did our prisons turn into hotels?

<itunes:summary>I have been thinking on the subject of why criminals don't fear going to prison anymore like in the old days? When a criminal is sentenced to jail time they usually smile and don't care at all. The prison system today is down right corrupt, they get 3 lavish meals a day, t.v. time, recreational time outside, and all the necessities that are usually provided by a hotels concierge service if you forget something. If one who committed a hanice crime got to spend 5-10 years in this lap of luxury then sign me up too. I cam upon an article of a Sherriff in Phoenix, Arizona who is dubbed the "Toughest Sherriff in America" and I was astonshied with the way he runs his jail, its like stepping back into the 50's where people don't want to go to jail and when they do they hate every minute of it. The Sherriff enacted a "get-tough-on-crime" policy and it seems to be working. He has required chain gangs and the only "woman" chain gang ever, he saves his community thousands of dollars of service that the prisoners handle such as cleaning streets, painting over graffiti, and aslo burying the deceades indigents in the county's field. The women are actually volunteering to be on the gangs because their other option is to be on total lockdown which means 4 women to an 8 by 12 foot cell for 23 hours a day. The prisoners are back to the past while wearing the old fashioned black and white striped uniforms, but they all have to wear pink underwear(even the men) and when the gangs are out they wear pink sweaters that plainy state "PRISONER" on the front and back. I would have to think that my favorite quote by this sherriff is "Jails are not country clubs," by this he means there is no smoking, coffee, salt, pepper, or ketchup allowed. All reading materials and time are monitored and there are no movies, television, and/or recreational time whatsoever. If a prisoner should have to see a nurse for any reason they have to pay $10.00 for this privilege. Some people may say that this is inhumane how he is treating the prisoners, but I agrree with the Sherriff when a criminal was complaining of how unsatisfied of his treatment he was, the Sherriff told him "Well, maybe this will teach you not to come back !!!"</itunes:summary>

Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all. I’ll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia I’ll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for chopping off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I’ll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide. I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights. In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care. When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book isbeing "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care! If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this, sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior! If you don't agree, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:” Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem" -- Ronald Reagan
