Is it any wonder that state agencies keep giving premits to uranium mining operations when those permits cost $2.6 million? The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality gets 82% of it's revenue from selling permits! After all of the disasters created around the state by uranium mining operations we now know why they still get permits!
