As you can see from the pic on my blog, I have a GREAT reason for going from full-time teacher to full-time mom. Isn't he the cutest thing? I LOVE the time I have to be with my son, but this change in my life has made it imperative that I keep up to date with current events and ANY other knowledge I can get my hands on (I swore to myself I wouldn't be like one of those moms who could only talk about their children!). Besides that, anytime I am not challenging myself intellectually, my brain feels like it is going to mush! I read the Victoria Advocate on line daily and I have read some interesting view points about some of the material. I can only hope to add more interest to the topics and learn as I go along.
