California also wants to forbid home schooling unless the parent has a teaching certificate because the government knows best. Mississippi has a bill pending in the legislature that, if passed into law, would prohibit fat people (as defined by the state) from being served in restaurants. Texas tells citizens that they cannot play 8-liner machines that pay out too much because the government knows best. A bill has been introduced into the U.S. Congress that would require postings on the internet to contain the actual name of the person posting because the government knows best.
