It is really amusing to read some of the comments each morning in the paper. There are some individuals who continually email in or write letters to the paper who absolutely have no earthly idea how our government of checks and balances is set up to operate. You read dozens of letters or messages that continually blame President Bush from the problem with the housing market to the extremely high cost of fuel.
I believe that the Legislative Branch has stalled any new drilling off our shores other than the Gulf and won't allow any exploration in ANWR where there is a known reserve. Also, with previous administration appointees on all levels of Federal Courts, we have seen the results of their known liberal agenda where they have legislated opinions instead of carrying out their Constitutional duty of interpreting them.
It is obvious that before people write these uniformed opinions, they should at least get some basic knowledge on how our American system of...
