I ventured out to the movies with one of the Usual Suspects to see catch a matinee of "The Ruins" or as I call it, "Killer Plants from Mexico."
Four American friends, Jonathan Tucker, Laura Ramsey, Jena Malone, Shawn Ashmore, on vacation in Cancun, Mexico, meet a German tourist, Sergio Calderon, that persuades them to join his hunt for his younger brother, who was last seen with his girlfriend near some mysterious ruins.

You know, recently these Americans on vacation movies have taught us that you are not supposed to trust someone with an accent in a foreign land if they want to take you some place, yet they keep making movies with people that do that. I just don't understand the logic.
So They get to the ruins and are set upon by a pack of people who kill one of them and force the rest to the top of the ruins. As they wait help, they try to survive as the foliage of the ruins tries to get to them.
