The Hollywood Reporter reports that Thandie Newton and Ioan Gruffudd have been cast in Oliver Stone's biography of President George W. Bush, titled "W."
Newton will play Condoleezza Rice and Gruffudd will play former Prime Minister, Tony Blair. Josh Brolin has been cast as George W. Bush and Elizabeth Banks will play First Lady Laura Bush. James Cromwell will play George H.W. Bush and Ellen Burstyn will play Barbara Bush.
According to sources to the trade, those familiar with the script say Bush "is depicted as an easily distracted figure predisposed to personal agendas, though they say the script occasionally shows a more sympathetic side."
