One vocal group does not even want what is the best for electrical power, Nuclear. Even Europe has figured that out.
You just have condemned your poor, your disabled and your elderly on fixed incomes, your small businesses, the heart of the US to ever increasing prices due to oil costs without any kind of viable, reliable, sensible backup energy source near ready. The low income cannot afford hybrids, even used. Cannot afford to upgrade their houses for more efficient energy using. And you just put us at the mercy of OPEC even now and for years to come.
