The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia. It's a fear greater than a shyness of black cats and walking under ladders, no doubt. Do you have a fear of Friday the 13th? I did a story about this time last year, and the folks I interviewed associated good luck with the number 13. This year, I'd like to talk to others about the day and the number. In numerology, according to Wikipedia, the number 12 is considered the number of completeness, as reflected in the 12 months of the year, 12 signs of the zodiac, 12 tribes of Israel and Jesus' 12 apostles. Thirteen is considered irregular. Thirteen people were seated at the table for the Last Supper and Jesus was crucified on a Friday. What are your thoughts? Thanks for your help, Gabe Semenza/Advocate public service editor
