What a cool opening line for a great song. I can't believe that for so many years I thought this was an Eric Clapton tune (suckered by the slide guitar), only to FINALLY discover that it was the mighty (yet tragic) Badfinger who was responsible for this auditory delight. Auditory is a word, right? Anyway, maybe VH1 will do a "Movie That Rocks" on them one day--& I hope it doesn't suck like that Michael Jackson one (of course I never saw the whole thing, just a piece here & there whilst channel-surfing). Whilst is a word, right?
