I am actually kinda looking forward to I am Legend. I try not try to prejudge an actor, at least he will occasionally change what he does character wise unlike John Wayne, Kevin Costner or Nicolas Cage.
As far as the Karate Kid, why? Yeah I know his kid probably loves the original and has a fantasy of being the karate kid...soooooo why not let him remake the movie for a gift. Nothing says I love you like a starring movie role right?
